An initial visit to Petals & Twigs, led me to meet the head director of the Miss Canada Globe Pageant - which eventually paved the path to my whirlwind pageant week and finals.

It was an amazing 10 days full of excitement, non-stop events, and many new friendships formed. I was honored to be on stage performing along side some of Canada's most beautiful young women. I tried to bring an artistic edge to the competition with a different look and unique talent. I displayed a collection of my digital photography accompanied by my original poetry reading Beauty Beyond Obvious.

A warm and special thank you for all the cooperation and support from your generous donations which were a great help in my quest for the 2009 Miss Canada Globe title.

Charitable Tax Receipts will be issued for any pledge $50.00 and higher in Approx 6-8 weeks. Those who made pledges were mentioned on the back of the page of the program books under the area that I represented (Halton Region).

During the 1 year of my reign as Miss Halton Region, I plan to be an active part of the community, promoting and developing artistic programs for youth. I will be hosting art shows & fundraisers in partnership with local organizations and charities, to help encourage artistic expression for children and young adults, orfering advice on education and career options in the field.

I would like to assist in others finding their passion, and doing what they love in life. As an aspiring professional photographer, I am confident my dreams will become a reality, one step at a time.

A special thank you to my mother for her endless love and encouragement and the Miss Canada Globe pageant for being the 'stepping-stones' to my blooming life and career.
